Solid State Light, Inc. has been in business since 1970. Together with our subsidiary, A-440 Audio, we cover the gamut of light, sound, computer and video technology. We've built displays for corporate clients such as Westinghouse, CBS, Diesel, and Lord & Taylor. Our clients have included non-profit organizations such as Artists Talk on Art, Inc. (ATOA), Art and Science Collaborations, Inc. (ASCI), the New York Hall of Science (NYHOS), the David Bermant Foundation, the DIA Foundation, Grace Church, and the RAMAKRISHNA Center. We've also helped schools such as The New School Jazz Center, Manhattan College School of the Arts, and The Computer Music Center of Columbia University.

We've worked on problems ranging from restoring a "rotorelief" sculpture by Marcel Duchamp, to solving technological problems for numerous contemporary artists such as: Alan Berliner, Donna Marxer, Ray Rapp, Shu Min Lin, Peter Terezakis, Tim Watkins, Francis Whitney, and contemporary musicians such as: Celeste Boursier Mougenot, Tristan Murail, Gene Pool, and thousands of others.
