Hi Flash.

I think that since the number of occurrances of higher redshifts drops from left to right, the sketch should reflect that. The wave function is a measure of probability and should decrease at the higher values. This can be seen in the solutions to SE for the harmonic potential. As the particle's energy gets higher there is less probability of finding the particle around the center of the potential. The "humps" are larger at the edges. So from left to right the wave should be gradually decreasing.
