Photon Series

The Photon Series was an experiment in building visual synthesizers. Reflection, refraction, and shadow mask projection were some of the light media I worked in during this series. Most importantly, I was using a keyboard to perform the animation, rather than a sequencial switcher, which previously had been the best sign animation technology I could find. This change to a keyboard was a crucial step toward developing visual music.
