Detail: monitor screen
Quick Time Movie (2.5 megs)

The Virtual Kaleidoscope scrambles the text of art world quotations into kaleidoscopic patterns which the viewer can navigate using a joy stick. The original version seen here ran on a recycled Commodore C-64 computer. When it was exhibited at the @Cafe on St. Mark's Place, NYC in 1995 it was covered by Bill Rabinovitch's "Art Seen," and you can view a Quick Time Movie Clip of Bill's coverage by clicking the image.
