Subject: Which is right?

Dear Dr. Sophronius,

To ask, "which is right," among religions is not a meaningful question. It's like asking, "Which is right, Windows XP, Macintosh OS X, or Linux?" They're all operating systems; the question of which is right doesn't apply. A meaningful question is which operating system do you feel comfortable using? Which one is right for you?

Generally people feel most comfortable with the operating system they learn first, unless something causes discomfort: say Windows eats your files and you decide to switch to Mac, or a Catholic nun bloodies your daughter's knuckles and you decide to switch to a Presbyterian operating system.

Love,

Flash
