Dear Dr. Sophronius,
You'll probably be sorry to learn that I've been reading the Bible again. Sorry, because as you've noted, I read it to find the passages that will replace faith with doubt. Doubt being the foundation of science, it seems the only antidote to the faith which has enmeshed the world in the current religious wars.
Luke 12:10 "Whoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven her: but unto her that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven."
Interesting, eh? You can be forgiven any sin, even denying that Jesus is the son of God, but you can't be forgiven for denying the Holy Ghost. How do you reconcile that with your disbelief in the trinity? How do you reconcile that passage with you assertion that you find no evidence for the trinity in the Gospels? (As if John 1 were not evidence enough.)
Don't worry, even if your soul is damned according to Luke, I still love you and look forward to seeing you in August. Perhaps more importantly from a theological perspective, Anubis still loves you, and is still willing to resurrect you via genetic engineering, if you accept Him as your savior. (He doesn't require you believe in the divinity of His disciple Jesus, the Holy Ghost, or the trinity. In fact, you don't even have to believe in His divinity to be resurrected by genetic engineering.)
