Dearest Dr. Sophronius,
No mere correction of a lacuna, accepting the Holy Ghost is an amazing conversion on your part. If you are willing to be persuaded to change your beliefs based on Biblical text, there's no telling where this might lead. You may even yet come to accept the wisdom of Solomon (1 Kings 11:5).
You wrote, "As for religious wars, wars are usually about greed and economic interests of elites that are couched in religious terms to get the rest of us to fight." I'll agree wars are often about greed, but would "religious terms" get people to fight, if people met such terms with doubt rather than faith? It appears to me the world would be better off with a lot more doubt and a lot less faith.
