Earl,

Greetings in the name of Lord Anubis, ancient among gods. You requested that I post a link to your site www.amazingbible.org The intent of my sites are to help end religious wars, religious intolerance, religious discrimination, and religious bigotry. Now, as throughout history, countless people suffer and die from these causes.

If it is also your intention to work for world peace, then perhaps we have a common cause, and exchanging links would be appropriate. If you are willing to demonstrate tolerance by posting a link to www.Polytheism.org, I will post a link to www.amazingbible.org on the links page of my site.

Since you are a student of the Bible, you are undoubtedly aware that the Bible acknowledges the other gods. The first commandment, "I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt have no other gods before me," makes it clear there are other gods, and does not suggest others should not be allowed to worship the gods of their choice. Indeed, it explains the reason for this dictum to Jehovah's followers, is that Jehovah is a "jealous god." (Exodus 20:5) Further Solomon, the wisest man in the Bible, was a polytheist (I Kings 11). The evidence of the existence of the other gods appears throughout the Bible.

If Satan is the embodiment of pure evil, then surely Satan's greatest invention was the modern notion that there is only one god. That notion has led directly to Jihads, the Crusades, the Inqusition, religious terrorism and untold suffering.

If you are willing to point out to your readers that the Bible acknowledges the existence of many gods, and that it is up to each individual to decide which god or gods, if any, to follow, then we can work together in the cause of peace and tolerance.

Sincerely,
