Subject: cloning comments

The future of humanity is now assured: I have been cloned! Flash Light and John Rafferty have combined efforts to organize and document this historic occasion. On October 7, 2009, a date that will live on in renown and legend, Flash and John took photos, swabbed my cheeks and sent off the samples to have the DNA extracted and preserved. Despite my celebrated pervasive humility, selection for this honor makes me swell with uncharacteristic pride.

However, there have been some unexpected and unsettling consequences. For example, my wife has taken to calling me "Dolly". More troubling, I have discovered that my wife has asked Flash and John to keep me and send her back the clone. Burdens to bear, but not insurmountable.

I urge all of us to keep up membership in SHSNY to see how this will all play out.
