Dear Flash,
I do not prohibit any one from quoting the Bible. However, to carry a
meaningful conversation, we need to agree on the definition of terms. And as
you know too many people interpret the Bible to their own satisfaction. If
it were not for the poetry in the Bible, everyone would have the same
definition of any verses, then would be fine to quote from the Bible.
All the other points in your email are correct. As I told you, I don't have
the time for a debate on mysticism via email. It is not my intention to Make
Secular Humanist or anyone else accept mysticism as a science. As long as
they are happy with their belief, I am happy for them. And I must tell you
even though Secular Humanist may have a problem accepting mysticism, the
mature mystic has no problem accepting the Secular Humanist. The mystic
understand quite well where the Secular Humanist is coming from and
therefore can live in harmony with him.
Best wishes,
Albert Depas
