Dear Flash, my good friend;
I visited your web-site and it doesn't seem to
offer anything new. Your approach in using the computer as a parallel to the human psychi is one that
I've been doing as well. Thanks to this new technology we can gain more understanding into the
human dimension. Not that this knowledge wasn't there before. Christ revealed it in the New
Testament. It can also be found in the doctrine Buddhism as well as in some African and polynesian
languages. However, this knowledge is encoded in a metaphor that most of us take too literal.
We do know that Christ spoke in parable (metaphors) so we should not take his words to mean
exactly what we understand in our common usage of the language.
Demystifying the myth is our problem. And the solution is to be found in linguistic science, a branch of
knowledge that is more complex than one can imagine. Yet, that is were one would find the essence of
our nature of the human dimension. This ability to penetrate into the hidden meaning of languages is
what the mystic has at his disposal. That in turn allows him to see the truth in what otherwise is a major
conflict in our society.
If you wish you can post this email on your web-site.
Again, thank you for attending my lecture on Mysticism at the Rosicrucian Lodge. The first week of
February 2004 I will be in Montreal, Canada to take part in a panel on Art Culture and Religion.
