Are you arguing that polyamory IS Christian? and why would you argue this? NONE of that group is seeking to align themselves with Christianity.
The fact that I am a sociologist in no way obligates me to live a secular life. (Actually much of what sociology reveal seems to support biblical observations.) Unlike Auguste Comte, I do not see sociology as a new religion.
I do not think science, anthropology, nor sociology as the blueprint for moral values. I do believe that the application of new knowledge IS a moral enterprise. One's values enter into deciding whether to use the tools of new technologies.
Ethics is a poor substitute for morals, but they are what we use in this society. Another topic perhaps, eh?
