Well, that's the closest thing to a marriage proposal I've received in years!
The world has gone its own ways. People have become so uncivil to each other, wild and inconsiderate.
I am grateful to retreat to my backyard, my little herbal plants, the office and teaching and hopefully I will send some papers for publication before too long.
I guess we're finished with polyamory. The fact that pagan practices, homosexuality, etc. coexist and have coexisted for millennia is not evidence that they were incorporated into Christianity.
Just a comment: Celibacy does not drive priests to molest children.
Child molesters seek out opportunities for easy access to children. The priesthood is one of them.
The fact that the Catholic Church administration (Bishops, et al., but including the Pope) did little to expose and curtail this global activity is abominable.
Well, school will be starting very soon.
It was a lovely summer.
