 Srimad Bhagavatam |
Vedas
Srila Vyasadeva put into writing the ancient Sanskrit myths known as the
"Vedas." Subsequently he wrote "Srimad Bhagavatam" to present their essence.
There are millions and billions of universes. In every universe Vishnu dreams
and from his navel grows a lotus on which
Brahma sits. Brahma creates all things within that universe, including the
sun, moon, demigods and all living things.
What astro-physicist today would not agree that this Vedic vision of the
cosmos is more accurate than the helio-centric views of the ancient monotheists?
According to the Srimad Bhagavatam, the spiritual goal for man is to move from the dark
universes into the light which
emanates from Krishna, who dwells on the original spiritual planet, Goloka Vrndavana.
